We have a proven track record of working in the industrial sector, from manufacturing to logistics, offering services such as hydrological studies, warehouse distribution center design, rezoning documents, and public hearings, to name a few.
Our recent work includes Rockingham Farms Industrial Park, Savannah Port Logistics in Savannah, Georgia, and Highlands Industrial Park in Pooler, Georgia.
Highlands Industrial Park
Coleman Company was retained by Scannell Properties to plan and design several warehouse and distribution facilities within the Highlands Industrial Park located in Savannah, Georgia, just north of Jimmy DeLoach Parkway. The Industrial Park was previously planned and designed by CCI for Landmark Development and consists of a 597-acre mixed-use development featuring several large light industrial tracts. The project features a distribution center for a major national ground shipping company and a warehouse facility for a large logistics operation. The sites were planned to accommodate the rapid movement and deployment of trucks and delivery vans, avoiding unnecessary environmental impacts to wetlands and satisfying local storm water requirements. All of CCI’s work was carefully coordinated to satisfy the many interests of the master developer, the design-build contractor, and the end-users of the facilities.
Rockingham Farms Industrial Park
Currently in the early stages, Rockingham Farms is an 1,100-acre warehouse distribution development master planned for approximately 9.7 million square feet of warehousing located on Veterans Parkway in Savannah, GA. Coleman Company prepared the site master plan, master drainage and grading plan, and the offsite water and sewer and onsite roads and utility infrastructure. CCI is also under contract to provide site/civil design and construction phase services for 9.5 million square feet of warehouse distribution facilities planned for the site.
Savannah Port Logistics Center
Coleman Company provided all surveying, planning, and site/civil design for an approximate 155-acre warehouse and distribution center that included design of a 6,100 LF truck access road, bridge, and roundabout, design and permitting of multiple railway spurs and switches, site mass grading, paving, drainage and utilities for over 2.3 million sq. ft. of warehouse facilities, and a 3,500-space container storage yard. CCI is the Surveyor of Record for the boundary, topographic, and wetland surveys for the project, including the 6,100 LF access road and railway access.
